I like to mix my programs....use different elements from each.

Scarlett, you only have to save it. Open up a program that you can use a crop feature. Open up the piccy, crop and you can use the save as button and save each piccy as a new file.

Amazing creations, both of you. I actually just saw Ingrid Bergman in a movie for the very first time with Cary Grant the other day. I absolutley loved it, especially how they used to end some of the classics back then.

They play off each other wonderfully in ''Notorious''. And Claude Rains is an extra-reason for me to love this movie.

In ''Indiscreet'' they are a bit old for this kind of light comedy, but their chemistry is so believable that it doesn't matter they are well past their prime.

Tracey, are you a fan of the maginificent Ingrid too?

Cary is absolutely impossible not to love.

Awesome banner Jo...The Thornbirds is a great mini-series. Aside from Ralph and Meggie, I think Barbara Stanwyck was great too.

Another great mini-series that Richard Chamberlain did was "Shogun".

The banner in my siggy is from one of my fav shows ever Police Woman...it was a 70s cop show that featured a bad @$$ chick named Pepper. *played by Angie Dickinson*...I have a thread about Police WOman over in Nostalgia Central....you can learn more there....and I urge folks to buy s1 which is on dvd as it was REALLLLLLY good.

The Thornbirds was a REALLY...REALLLLY good mini series in the early 80s....you can find that on dvd.

OK gang, got my new laptop yesterday and it has a widescreen on it. Anywho, I was so excited because this will just be mine, so I can have a Dallas (probably JR/SE) wallpaper since I don't have to share with hubby and daughter. Anywho, the problem is any of the wallpiccys I had saved are all square-ish and when they stretch to fit my screen they distort. :( Anyone have any wallpiccys that will work on a widescreen or can someone tell me if I can do something to make the others work?

Try saving them first to photobucket...and saving them as LARGE whatever size it is for the big screen.

When I first began making my wallpiccys many of them I saved in that size...so feel free to use them...they're in this thread somewhere...but if you want a specific one and can't find it...let me know.
