It was hard at first cuz I really had forgotten what to do in Photoshop...but once I figured it out...smooth sailing...ALMOST.:sheep:

I know what you mean. I LURVE Photoshop for it's "extras"...but I LURVE MDI because I can do things in there that I can't in photoshop...like transparency...and I can make the font pretty in MDI.

So I combined both...I did the same thing with PAINT...I made the Angie banner in PAINT...then dressed it up in MDI.

JoJo...isn't it something how Sugar looks younger on the left than in the middle...and the middle pic was taken like in 72' and the pic on the left is like 79'.

Says something about doing what you LOVE to do doesn't it....when she began to do what she really loved and had a passion for...I believe it made a difference in her whole being...pictures tell a very great story.

(I) Hey! I thought it would be a great fun idea if we could all make a picture together.
Find below a canvas called 'DALLAS STARS by DALLAS FANS'
Simply right click on image or 'Print Screen' and save as 'DALLAS STARS by DALLAS FANS'
Next add your DALLAS STAR then re post it.
I have added one DALLAS STAR as an example.
My STAR (Miss Ellie) has 'vignette' effect, resampled to 80 x 80 pixels and then pasted onto canvas.

Hope this works. should look good when it's finished.

p.s. Also I thought it might be a good idea if people working on adding a star, post a quick confirmation which star they are adding.
Just for continuity purpose.
And let us give everyone a chance to add their own star.
Anyway, let's give it a go and see if it works.

For anyone not familiar with image programs, here is a simple method you can use in 'Windows' to add your own Dallas star.

If you do have a knowledge of Image programs but need to know how to upload your picture to a Forum, go to Step 9.

Before you start, have the images you want to combine, ready saved in a location easily found.
E.g. Location - 'Desktop' Image 1 - 'Dallas Star.jpg' and Image 2 - Dallas Stars Canvas.jpg'

Step 1
Click 'Start' on your task bar. Start panel opens.
Move your cursor over 'All Programs' then 'Accessories' and then click on 'Paint'

Step 2
In 'Paint' go to and click on 'File' top left. Then click on 'Open'
Choose Image 1 and again click 'Open'

Step 3
Next. In the top left you will see a dotted rectangle. This is like a cropping tool for your image. Click on it.
Now move your cursor over the image. You will now see your cursor as a cross.

Step 4 - Crop/Cut image
Move your cursor to the point where you want to start cropping your image.
(This may be all the image or just a section)
Next, left click/hold mouse and drag to the point where you want the crop to end and release.
Then move your cursor inside the dotted cropping area, right click mouse and click on 'Cut'

Step 5
Go to 'File' again top left and open Image 2
As you open this you will first be asked if you want to save the previous image. Just click 'No'
Image 2 is now open.
With mouse, right click on image and then click on 'Paste' (or Ctrl+v)

Step 6 - Re-sizing your Imported image.
You should now have Image 1 imported onto Image 2.
Now move your cursor over one of the corners of Image 1.
When you can see a double arrow left click/hold your mouse and drag the image to the size you want and release.

Step 7
You can now move the Image to any area of the canvas by moving your cursor over Image 1, left click/hold mouse and dragging to the area you want it to be, then release.

Step 8
Save you combined images.

Step 9
Next you need to upload your finished picture to an Image Host.
If you do not have one, you can sign up for free.
There are many, but heres just a few.

Once you have signed up you can upload your Image.
When you have uploaded your picture, you will be given a link for your image. It is called a IMG CODE.

Copy and then paste this link into your post on the forum.
