why can't i change the text in my signature

when i try, i get a window saying images cannot be larger than a certain size.

But i'm not altering my banner, just the text. What gives? Please advise.

Its saying that because your banner is too big and too change anything in your signature you will need to replace your banner.

But we are changeing the size of it so you will be able to change it soon.
