A couple of weeks ago forum member TheChadisGreat was permanently banned, I'm assuming for constantly being extremely abusive to many of the other members on the forum, myself included. It now appears that he's somehow managed to create a new user name (JETS) and continue right where he left off. Even though I don't know how it's possible for someone who permanently banned to do this, I'm 99.99% sure that these two users are one and the same. Check out some of his latest posts for yourself and I think you'll see what I'm talking about. It became very obvious to me very quickly.

It really doesn't seem fair that those of us he chooses to go after with his continual personal attacks and tirades are only left with two options: leave the forum and don't come back or put up with his torment. Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much for your time and attention.

Boy oh boy. Now there is a conspiracy theory. My goodness. I am not this former board member, however If you think I am so what? what does it matter to you?

I can make a suggestion to the moderations that they charge people to use this board and that could stop such a problem if they believe this is one. You can simply charge a minimal fee. and the person would need more than one credit or debit card to simply sign on with different accounts.

Sue Ellen...It seems to me you have a problem with people posting opinions that differ from yours. I don't see respect dripping from your posts. You seem to think it's okay for you to be as sarcastic and condescending as you like with your words but that no one should counter you.

I think YOU need to go read up. Look at your constant antagonistic posts. Then really try and find a place where you've been legitimately "personally attacked."

Quit campaigning to have certain people banned just because you don't like them. It's nonsense. Theres a whole slew of people here who are rude and insulting, so what makes you think someone YOU don't like should be banned? I find you rude and offensive and I've not made a motion to have you banned.

Clearly we ALL have to tolerate people we don't like and don't agree with on this forum. That's going to be the price you pay for invoving yourself in discussions that heat up the way political ones do.

See Sue Ellen. I am trying to help you. and the people who own the boardsChad, if you're not Chad then why do several people on the forum seem to have the deluded notion that you are Chad? Even one of the moderators knows who you are...and possibly more than one. People are simply not that easily fooled. What does it matter to me if you are Chad? I think I explained that quite clearly in my original post. But as far as I'm concerned, this issue is now between you and the administrator.

That's going to be the price you pay for invoving yourself in discussions that heat up the way political ones do.First of all, I made this post to request help from the administrator for what I consider to be a persistent problem, not to discuss it with anyone who it isn't involved in it...and certainly not to argue about it, but I guess I'll oblige since you insist on interfering in something that doesn't really concern you at all.

My issue is with Chad, not with you. It is a fact that he was permanently banned...and there was a reason for that. You can't really expect me to believe that you're posting this with an unbiased opinion, considering that your political views are much more similar to Chad's than to mine? That's the only explanation for how someone could witness Chad constantly harassing other members and yet still expect them to go out of their way to be respectful and polite to him. :rolleyes: I really resent your attempt to twist this situation and imply that I'm the one who has trouble getting along with other people on these boards. Everyone knows what the truth is: Chad was abusive to numerous people to the degree that he finally got himself permanently banned...and I can't believe that you're defending him. It's the equivalent of blaming the victim for the criminal's crimes.

Personally, I don't consider reporting abusive posts to be "campaigning to have someone banned just because you don't like them", but in any case, it's not your place to try to dictate to other members what they can or cannot do. I believe that we have administrators and moderators for that express purpose. It is also their function to decide who has conducted themselves in a manner that being banned is the appropriate action, not yours. And I don't appreciate being ordered around by someone who's not in a position of any authority...it's overbearing to say the least. If you have a problem with any of my posts, feel free to campaign to have me banned to your heart's content. I'll gladly allow the moderators and the administrators decide if I've been inappropriately disrespectful, sarcastic, condescending, antagonistic, rude, insulting, or offensive...without significant provocation...and take any action against me that they deem necessary.

One last thing...I find it odd that all of a sudden you personally find me to be rude and offensive when I've never had an issue with you before...to my recollection, we've never even argued about anything before and any exchanges we've had have been civil. But now, out of the blue, I've apparently been "rude and offensive" all along. Talk about feeling personally attacked! And by someone that I've only had very limited interaction with! :confused:

I am new to this off topic forum but from what I can gather is that this Chadis dude was banned and now a new member has joined. You see that this new member is making similar posts and assume its the banned member, Chadis. That could be a possibilty but this new JETS person's posts do not seem to be offensive. I think you are putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5.

This discussion is totally inappropriate. If someone feels that a banned user is causeing a problem then use the alert button or the contact us button at the bottom of the forums.
