Here is the first part of Episode One:

Episode One:
Red Skies in Morning

Southfork – Midmorning

Outside, a mildly cold breeze blows as a Lotus speeds down the county road, the one that Southfork lied on.

“John Ross, can you pull over?” requested the female passenger.

When John Ross pulled over, he began to stroke her brown hair and kissed her on the neck. “Is something bothering you, Becky?”

“I don’t know if I can do this...”

“Listen, how many times have I been telling you? I know how to deal with Good Ole J.R., alright?”

“I guess you’re right, but I can’t shake off this feeling...”

“That’s your nerves talking, Beck.”

“You know he won’t react well when we tell him we got married,” Becky answered.

“If he pulls anything, anything at all, we’ll leave Southfork - no questions asked.”

“God, do I love you, John...”

They look lovingly into each other’s eyes, before entering into a passionate kiss...

Later at Southfork, John Ross enters the lounge to find that J.R. was the only one home. “Hey, Dad.”

J.R. turns from the bar to his son. “Hey, son. Didn’t expect you back till next week.”

“Let’s say there was a change of plans...”

“A change of plans?”

“Yes, Dad. I’m married now...”

J.R. stood frozen then sat on the sofa with a large smile on his face. “Well, I’ll be... who’s the lucky lady?”

Becky then emerged in the doorway, much to JR’s displeasure. “Son, if this is your idea of a joke, I don’t find it amusing in the least.”

“It’s no joke, Dad. I love her and she loves me. There’s nothing you can do about it.”

“John Ross, I would like a word with you in private,” ordered J.R.

“No, I’m sick of your lectures on the Barnes/Ewing feud. It’s dying right here and now!”

“Never speak to your daddy like that again!”

“I should’ve known... you’re incapable of changing. You’re so set in your ways.”

“What’re you getting at?”

“Well, for one, I’m leaving Southfork and quitting Ewing Oil.”

J.R. slapped John Ross, so hard that he fell onto the couch.

“You’re so inhuman, it’s sickening...”

“Get out of here, boy. Never show your face here again! You’re a disgrace to this family.”

“Guess I’m the Ewing black sheep now...”

J.R. called for Jane, who appeared in the room. “Jane, please take this young man and this young woman’s things to their car.”

John Ross stands in JR’s way. “Maybe not anytime soon, but one day, I’m going to bring you down...”

“You chose the wrong man to cross, boy!”

Cattlemen's Club - Late Morning

A waiter led Sue Ellen into a dimly lit corner of the restaurant where Cliff was sitting in a corner booth.

“Sue Ellen, I wasn’t sure if you’d come,” he answered.

“Cliff, hello....”

As she sat down across from Cliff, the waiter asked, “Would you like a beverage, Ms. Ewing.”

“A club soda for me. Thanks.”

Cliff cupped his hands and stared into her face. “You look wonderful, Sue Ellen.”

She laughed. “Why did you ask me to lunch?”

“Look, things in my life aren’t going to well and I needed someone to talk to,” he replied grimly.

“Oh, my God. What happened?”

“Well, Afton and I have decided to call it quits-”

“I thought you two were so happy together. You were going to get married.”

Cliff chuckled sarcastically. “Yeah, so did I...”

“Do want to talk about it?” she asked, grabbing hold of his hand.

“About a month ago I was telling her that I wanted to get back into the business again.”

“Oil?”

“What other business matters to me?” he answered. “From then on things have gone downhill until she finally moved out.”

“I’m really sorry, Cliff. I really am,” she answered sympathetically.

“It’s good to know I have someone there for me... somebody’s on my side.”

She smiles warmly before looking at her watch. “I’ve got a meeting I need to attend....”

Cliff nods. “It’s alright, Sue Ellen.”

As she stands up, she places her hand on his shoulder. “I’ll take a rain check, though.”

“Alright,” he answers.

He watches as she walks off then lets out a sigh. The waiter then arrives with the club soda Sue Ellen ordered and places it on the table.

Ewing Oil – Afternoon

Bobby sits at his desk, browsing through some manila folders. He stops momentarily and looks a photo of Pam on his desk. Only months earlier she had returned after being in the hands of Katherine Wentworth for over a decade. But their bittersweet reunion was cut short when Pam learned her cancer was no longer in remission and her body was deteriorating fast. On her deathbed, they had a pastor remarry them before she passed on only moments after the wedding...

Picked up the photo and rubbed his fingers against Pam’s face. Tears formed in his eyes as he said aloud, “Why, Pam? Why? Why did you leave us again? I need you... Christopher needs you?”

He dropped the photo and rested his head on the desk, beginning to bawl...

Dallas Marriott Hotel – Afternoon

Becky emerges from the bathroom dressed in her bathroom after having taken a shower. She notices John Ross sitting on the bed, glancing through a Dallas real estate magazine.

“You can’t seriously be considering staying in Dallas!” she exclaimed angrily.

“Look, if it’s a war J.R. wants, it’s a war he’s getting!”

“I can’t believe it... you’re just as power hungry as he is!”

“This is something I have to do Becky – with or without you!” John Ross angrily answers.

Becky stood, unsure of what to do then put her arms around him. “Alright, alright... I’ll support you on this. But I really hope you know what you’re doing.”

I can't believe I wrote this scrap... I was overly-tired the evening I wrote this, and am sorry for imposing this horrible story onto this forum...

I am in the works on something different, and am putting my all into writing it, something I hadn't incorporated into this script...

Yes, that's what I was going to do. I was just explaining to avoid this script because of its nonsense, but I won't be posting any more scripts on any other site except my own.

Oh its harmless, I dont see why he cant post it here.

Just also thought it was interesting how many people now call Pamela Rebecca - Becky.

This was something we did in The Legacy - seems to have caught on.

But I dont have an issue with you posting here Ray
