BLOODY GOOD: Here's some news that doesn't suck: The WB has renewed Angel for a sixth season. The acclaimed Buffy the Vampire Slayer spinoff will hold on to its 9 pm/ET-Wednesday timeslot, but it will get a much stronger lead-in this fall when Smallville moves to Wednesdays at 8 pm/ET. Meanwhile, Buffy's James Marsters (Spike) will cross over to Angel full time next season.

This is from today's TV Guide (which, by the way features Buffy AND Angel on the cover of the mag this week!). That's awesome that Spike will be moving over to Angel!!! I'm so excited!!! I think that they misprinted about which season it would be (it will be the fifth!). I'm sure having Smallville as a lead in will help the show next year (although I'm not sure about that show switching nights! It does so well on Tuesdays but the WB is smart moving it to anchor anthoer night in the wake of Dawsons leaving!).

Hopefully that made everyone as happy as it did for me!!! http://2ni2.com/emoticon/cantar/bailar.gif

This is great news, Bret! http://www.click-smilie.de/sammlung/ernaehrung/ernaehrung004.gif

I am still no die hard Angel fan but I like the show and I am happy that the world Joss Whedon created for us will not be fully gone once Buffy fights her last fight on TV.

And it's awesome news that James Marsters is switching to Angel. http://2ni2.com/emoticon/cantar/bailar.gif I am just disappointed in Tony Head now for not telling me, lol.

I know! I'm really excited. I honestly was never an "Angel" fan until this year, the show has really grown and improved (what season are you on? Where ever you are in the series, it gets better! Trust me!).

I'm glad that Spike will be headed over to the show too! It's comforting that the show will live on after BTVS signs off.

PS- I bet ASH and others will make guest apperences during the next season.

I am on season 3 which started a few weeks ago. In the season premiere Angel was grieving over Buffy's death! http://images.bravenet.com/brpics/smilie/shocking.gif I can't tell you how much I hate German TV, lol.

I've never seen seasons 1 and 2, only the S2 finale and now season 3. I like the show and I have also read over an episode guide so that I can follow. A note to Bob Philips: You actually CAN start watching a show in the middle! http://www.soapchat.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I've heard that season 1 was pretty lame but I would really love to see season 2. Well, maybe some day...

I love the character of Fred - she is cool! Cordy is great too and to be honest - to me she is still the same as on Buffy, season 3 so I cannot agree with you guys when you say she is a lot different on Angel. ??? http://www.soapchat.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

From what I have seen of her in season one and four (although during the latter she wasn't exactly herself...) she is the same. A little more grown up, but the same.

Bret, I agree! http://www.soapchat.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
She is more grown up and no bitch anymore but we all know that she never really was a bitch. She's always been a very loving and caring person, HOWEVER she was good at hiding this in the beginning! http://www.soapchat.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

In the east, Angel has been on Wednesday after Dawson all season. I'm so glad about them renewing Angel. I really want to know HOW Spike gets over to the Angel crew. I can't wait for Cordy to wake up. I hope Connor stays where he is as of the season finale last week. I'm so excited.

I just read on Ain't It Cool News that Charisma Carpenter is not expected to return as a regular for the fifth season. I guess it's to be expected since she has just had her first child and probably wants to be a full time mother to her son.

I think Cordys departure woulsd be expected. I'm sure she will pop up during the up-coming season (it sounds great to be able to say that about a BTVS universe show!). Plus, was there a place for her at Wolfram and Heart? Hmmm....
