New site progress

Hi,

I thought I would update you on the new site.

Everything is going very well and the site is almost ready in its initial state, I say intial because its a works in progress and will added too frequently due to its magazine style format.

We would also love your contributions to the site, ChrisSumner has come up with some good section ideas.

But we would really love you to write stuff, contribute things, whatever you feel like.

The aim of the site is to provide factual information on the series but it will also implement a fun element which is the heart and soul of it. We don't want to bring you 'another' Dynasty website, I find all the other Dynasty sites, apart from Dynastyarchives.co.uk rather flat and lacking any kind of 'personality'.

What about a "What Dynasty means to me" section? I once saw a section like that on an old Knots site (which has disappeared into cyber heaven) and I thought the section was totally cool. Different people told their own personal stories. Like there was this guy who talked about watching Knots with his wife and sadly, his wife has passed away so everytime he sees Knots he gets real sad.

I would love to write such a report because Dynasty is the only show out of the four 80's prime time soaps that I can relate childhood memories with. There is lots to tell, lol.
What do you all think? Good idea or not?
