I have watched Dallas and was wondering if episode "Royal Wedding" could have been used as a spin-off episode to create dynasty. Think about it, instead of gay Kit marrying lucy, it's Steven Carrington, son of the Denver Oil Tycoon, Blake Carrington. J.R sees the Ewing-Carrington merger as a blessing just like the regular episode, instead of the mainwaring, it's the Carringtons. In addition, if Dynasty had been a spin-off of dallas, the catfights between the two shows would have never existed, instead fans would have been treated to occasional crossovers episodes of J.R going to Denver to do business with Alexis and vice=versa. Not only would Dallas would have spun-off Knots Landing but Dynasty as well and the three shows would have connected really well. J.R sleeps with Alexis who sleeps with Greg Sumner. who knows maybe Falcon Crest could have also been a spin-off of Dallas with Angela Channing being an old friend of Miss Ellie.
