Oh please! Most anyone out there would marry a rich man/woman on his/her deathbed to get their $! If I had been writing the scene where Alexis and Cecil marry and kiss, I would have had Alexis look right into the camera and wink her eye at the audience!

What I liked about this scene is that you could so tell that Cecil KNEW Alexis was only marrying him for his money. And he wanted it too, cause he knew that Alexis would use his company/money to destroy Blake.

NO. Alexis' "Yes" to Cecil's proposal wasn't out of greed. She didn't marry him just to become a billionaire. Of course Cecil maked Alexis Mrs. Colby to destroy Blake, but also because he loved her, and reverse. You buy Fallon wanting Cecil for lust, and insist Alexis married Cecil for other reasons than greed? Alexis was desperate when Cecil died.

Alexis just pulled the trigger of the gun Krystle so volunteerly loaded and handed over by climbing a horse while being pregnant.

I think she liked Cecil and had deep feelings for him but I don't think she loved him. If he had been poor, she wouldn't have married him.

look i know i shouldn't find it funny but krystle getting draged along by the horse was funny i know it's not funny at all may i go to hell for finding it funny.

I read somewhere that the purpose of the role of alexis was to make the public hate her - so they chose Joan Collins cos the public hated her anyway

she only achieved minor success on the big screen - and her personal life tended to overshadow her professional life as she became better known for her famous marriages and affairs

few people can actually name any of the 55 odd movies she starred in

i haven't read a lot about joan collins so i don't know a lot about her so why didn't people like her before the show.
