Okay guys. For all you who wanted a Fantasy Cast, I've decided to go ahead with the idea (subject to Meg's approval as he is in charge of the website design). I can't see there being any problems though but need some suggestions for the Season Two cast.

What I am needing is actor's names to be suggested to 'play' several new characters that I have included in the next series which I am presently writing.

The sex/age/look of the actors I am looking to cast are as follows:

3 male actors in the mid thirties age group to play three mates. They don't need to be particuarly good looking. Although they are 'goodies' so to speak, one must have the potential to play a good character turned bad. Any suggestions???

I need a female actress in her mid thirties again to play the girlfriend of a central male character. I have visions of a blonde but am open to suggestions.

I also need a fifty year old male actor to play a colleague of Mack's who also has the same job as Mack. He won't be that central a character - just involved in two episodes but nevertheless has a role to play. A 'weakling' who is no where near as good as Mack. Any suggestions???

I also need a male actor in his late forties to play an associate of Abby's. He should fit in the 'Treadwell' mode so I'm sure you all know what I am looking for...

Finally a male actor in his early thirties to play a private detective and three 30 - 40 year old's to play Sumner Group employees for a few episodes. They won't be particuarly central to the plot but ought to be suitable to play dorkish/loud mouthed characters. They consist of two females and one male...

Phew - now you all know what I'm looking for, get casting....

Also I forgot to mention, no major Hollywood celebrities like we had before! I believe that considering the minor positions these characters will have in the long term, such casting would be unreal.

Once again, Thanks in advance for all your help.

AND

Those who suggest the names of the actors I eventually decide to use will be accredited in the next series...

Please do get thinking ALL of you. Since this idea was suggested, I've believed it to be a worthwhile move for the site and will make it compete with Knots Landing Reborn and make it seem more real a series if we can have proper actors' names in the line up. All backroom staff would also be accredited (i.e anyone suggesting storylines, actors etc)...

Richard e mailed me tonight with casting suggestions and believed we should keep all suggestions a sceret in order that we can keep any potential actors' names a surprise. I think this is a good idea and ask you all to e mail me with any suggestions. My address is now listed on the site...

A huge thanks to everyone who e mailed me their suggestions for Season 2 actors' names. I reckon I have enough names to fill about 10 years worth of material! Whatsmore, many actors are fairly not well known but established television actors - just exactly what I was looking for. So thanks again, and I'll e mail everyone personally letting them know the final results!!!

I'm on the lookout for a male French actor in his 40's. I had originally created the character as an off screen presence however have since decided to 'up' his role. Please let me know of any suggestions as this is one area where I really am snookered...

Received your e mail Niamh - Thanks!

Once again I'm appealing to you all to come up with a French male actor for me. Someone not too famous in his 40's. He has a fairly major role to play in a couple of episodes and is pretty vital to one of the plots. Thanks...

How about Gerard Depardieu?

Gerard Depardieu is a little too famous I think to appear on Knots though it is not an idea I am ruling out completely Michael. Thanks for your interest...

The French male actor has been found thanks to a film that appeared on TV the other night starring none other than our own Michele Lee. I was away for the weekend but taped the film called 'The Fatal Image' which so happened to be set in France with a French male actor in a lead role. Although I've not had a chance to watch the film yet, I seem fairly satisfied with my first impressions (i.e age/look/appearance...)

Over the next few weeks, I'm going to be making a series of posts introducing everyone to all the new characters coming aboard during the next season of Fantasy Knots due to start in late November. The idea is to give you all a flavour of the next series and wet your appetite a little...
