Hi, everyone!
Danny_James gave me an idea by telling about his Dallas collection. I'd like to know what he and other Dallas fans have collected the past years. What's your collection about?
I have:

-The Dallas Family Album
-Two books from the Soaps & Serials series (#8 and #11)
-Dallas (by Lee Raintree)
-The three Dallas books written by Birt Hirshfeld
-The bubblegumcards
-a black Southfork Mug
-the Dallas Soundtrack (with songs sung by Howard Keel, Steve Kanaly, Jenilee Harrison and many others)
-a Dallas LP
-the J.R. Ewing Decanter
-Ewing Oil Stock
and of course many, many pics!

Then there is the vast amount of pictures I have saved on my computer.

I bought to majority of my collection from Ebay and I'm always on the search for items I don't have.

I've got a vast collection as it started when I was still at school and I've been collecting since Jan 12th 1980!! and spent a fortune along the way!!!
I've got over 80 000 magazine / newspaper cuttings on Dallas and cast (even ones I couldn't stand eg Sasha Mitchell, Donna Reed, Lesley Anne Down etc)
500 plus 10x8 b/w and colour photos of the cast.
Thanks to S and P Parker's Movie Market in England.
All the Dallas books, trading cards, biographies and books which mention Dallas or are cast related, Dallas annuals, keyrings, t shirts, mugs, pencils, car plates, sharpeners!, set of greeting cards, calenders, lots of foreign stuff on the cast, car stickers, all the stuff from the Dallas fan clubs/fanzines over the years.
I've got 24 cast members autographs, some 4 or 5 times, Patrick and Larry's singles (oh dear!) and Howard Keels albums.
Also got all the programmes from HK concerts in UK, Art (PD) The Graduate (LG)
And there's more than that, - one day I'll get round to categorizing it all!!
Now thanks to the internet and ebay, I've been able to buy stuff on BBG (5 playbills, and one's where she's on the cover of Time and Life magazines.
It's cost a fortune, but I'd never part with it any of it. Also met 10 cast members, and thanks to writing to Lorimar for an autograph in 1983, I won a competition and spent a day watching them film on the Dallas set.

Also vast collection of Cast interviews and appearances on UK TV since 1983, and radio interviews since 1980.
PS
Linda Gray is on Good Morning Sunday , next week Radio 2 (7.00-9.00am)
Most friends don't know about this, and think I'm reasonably "normal"!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BJ, I could probably have been as rich as the Ewings, if I wasn't such a fan/saddo!!I wish!(Delete as you see appropriate!!)
However my love for Dallas has kept me Healthy over 21 years!! I don't smoke or drink!! (Couldn't afford to, as I was too busy buying magazines with Dallas cast!)

Dear Barbara fan,
Well, You ARE normal. Or we are both nuts! Because I also love Dallas for a very long time. What is it that makes Dallas so beautiful? Can you give me a reason? I can't. I just think about Dallas all day (well, except when I am very busy with my work and I have to concentrate). At night I read the Dallas saga over and over again (I printed the pages from the Dallas Nitpickers site and made my own big Dallas-book. And I mean BIG!!!) I am so addicted to the show! Unfortunately Dallas isn't shown on Dutch television, but with help from the self-made book I have lots of fun!
Well, thanx for listening. It was nice 'talking' to you!
Best wishes,
B.J.

I think that they got the casting just right with the original Ewings and supporting players. Series 1-6 were my favourites. After that they brought in new cast members that I didn't really care about so much.
The Orignal 7 who sat round the SF dinner table made the show, and LH was very clever in the way he built up his part to be the main "star".

Here is my collection of Dallas memorbilia:
Dallas by Laura Van Wormer
The Ewings of Dallas by Burt Hirschfeld

War of The Ewings
Dallas: The Early Years
Some tapes from the TNN marathon (about 4 total)

I'm going to add more as time goes on. Mostly get the books that others have listed above. I'll probably get those on Ebay as they are very hard to find elsewhere. http://www.soapchat.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
