View Full Version : Princess Ewing: Part Deux!

Pamela said that Princess Diana was a big fan of Dallas.
I think it would be cool to work the Princess into the show. I mean they created a Princess on Dynasty, so I think Dallas could have done it.
Or maybe the Winsors could have invited the Ewings for a visit, to discuss alternative oil rates for England. Would this have worked?
Can you see Miss Ellie teaching Queen Elizabeth how to cook Chili?
Or JR and Prince Charles tell stories of their mistresses?
Or have little John Ross and Christopher playing with the two princes?
Or even see Diana and Bobby flirting with eachother, while April glares in the background, lol?
I think it would rock, lol.

Yeah it would have been quite a scene alright!
DR as Miss Ellie would probably have taken better to Mrs Windsor.....sorry the Queen LOL, than the BBG Ellie.
JR would no doubt try & entice Camilla into his web, this would infuriate Charles.
I could just see Jock & Prince Philip out horse riding upon Mr Ewing Senior's SF invitation to Mr Royal Senior.
IMO Bobby would also have been immediately attracted to the people's princess i.e. Diana. They would have made quite a team! Could you imagine Bobby in Buckingham Palace, so far apart from SF & his beloved ranching.

Yikes I would of hated to see anything `royal` on Dallas. That awful sap Amanda or Armarnda (as they pronounced it) in Dynasty was a joke, thank god they all got shot at the wedding, sadly they survived.
Anyway the Ewings to me were like the USA's Royal family. You had king and Queen i.e Jock and Ellie. Then when the king died there was a fight to see which son would be heir. Actually if they were Royal JR would be next in line.

I actually can't stand the Royals. The only one I had any time for was Princess Diana, and I think anything to do with her now has to be dealt with with the utmost sensitivity.
I also like William and Harry, but that's about it.

I never could remember if there was a king or queen in England when I was a kid. Then came Princess Di and I got to know the whole family (with only true interest in Diana and later Sarah). I guess that would've been a bad idea to have Diana on the show, but my eyes would've been glued to the set had she come on http://www.soapchat.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
